What it says on the tin..
I'd like to be able to double click in the lyrics panel to edit them rather than having to right-click > edit displayed lyrics. Ideally then click away, say on on another track or whatever and the edited lyrics then save

are you seriously that busy that 1 more right click will spoil your day

i wouldn't want to lose the float window feature which now is the double click

I don't think he meant the tab title but inside the window where lyrics are located. I think its a good suggestion, double-click does nothing as it is so lets make it useful  ;D

Any chance of some additional feedback on this? I'd find it very convenient and I imagine fairly easy to implement

The only issue that may arise is when double clicking on synced lyrics

I certainly wouldn't like it to jump to a different position in the track when I want to edit lyrics. I really don't know how can this be solved, maybe clicking on the area next the actual text of the lyrics... But right now even if you click there it jumps to the track position defined by the lyric text it.

Maybe disable double-clicking on synced lyrics altogether? Hmm...  :-\
