In this smartphone era it would be great to have an app for android and maybe ios smartphone.
I think it will help a lot to get people to know MusicBee by having those apps.
Winamp and MediaMonkey both have their app:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1047871

What I think that would be cool is:
-Wifi syncing of music
-Control MusicBee on the computer from the phone (none official app has it)

Take a look at Subsonic - http://www.subsonic.org/pages/index.jsp
And there's a plugin for MusicBee that can be found here on the forum.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Well if I want to listen to my music anywhere I can use Google Music, that wasn't really the idea for the MusicBee app....

MediaMonkey is developed by a 3rd party developer with the support of the original MediaMonkey team. Winamp on the other hand is developed by the same developers but being owned by AOL the wimamp team surely has many resources.

I don't want to let your hopes down but do not expect Steven, being the lone programmer for the MusicBee project, to start such an app anytime soon, if ever, because the MusicBee project is difficult to maintain as it is on its own.

If you know any developer that is willing to do such an app, or anyone reading this thread, he should first contact Steven and ask him about the idea and for permission to use the MusicBee name.

Just my 2 cents

"-Control MusicBee on the computer from the phone (none official app has it)"

there have been a few requests on the forum for this and one of the forum members has indicated he is looking at an app/ mb plugin.
Another member has said he will look at it in October if nothing has been done by then.
