I love Musicbee, it's the best music app for music collectors.  Anyways one thing that has been driving me crazy is that artist pictures change into movie pictures based on album names. Example below Santana Supernatural, comes up with some random black and white picture likely from old movie Supernatural, which I didn't even have in my collection. It pulls from a search engine I guess even though I have that setting turned off.

I've tried using the artwork tool, tried clearing out cache, but this always to seem to happen with some albums of mine.

As a workaround I just put a "." after the album title which fixes it but I don't want albums displaying this period, due to my OCD :)

I'm assuming this is a bug, but if anybody has suggestions or workarounds, please let me know.  Or if it is something happening to others maybe can get fixed in a future release?

The reliable method for downloading artist pictures etc was discontinued by the provider (last.fm). The workaround, which works well most of the time, has been to get them from Bing based on a text search.

You can manually search the internet for pictures to copy / paste  / save and ban incorrect pictures as they are found.  Unfortunately, it's not going to get much better than it is.

Thanks so much for the response.  I appreciate the assist.  Yeah I do all manual searches in search engines and save locally since I never like what Last or Google would come up with via Musicbee.  I got rid of that artist rotation just keep one graphic up for each artist.

The picture should show a picture of Santana I have saved in my artist picture folder similar to other Santana albums, but this odd photo comes up, not sure why.  This happens just on a few albums that may share the same name as a movie of same name even though I don't have those pictures saved locally.

Ban doesn't seem to work,  my guess is it's a bug, or trying to figure if these pictures get cached somewhere.

Hopefully one day it gets fixed, if anybody else has another suggestion or fix, I'm all ears.

Have a great 4th all!

I also do this, my OCD really kicks in with the artist pictures. Recently, was listening to my Guns N Roses albums and a picture of Aerosmith came up. Whenever I can't come up with a picture I like through MusicBee itself, I go on google image and save it to the artist pictures folder.

Bing images is pretty good also. Perhaps better than Google.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
