sort album covers descending by year grouped by year stopped working

Hi,
Suddenly i can no longer sort album covers descending by year when they are grouped by year.
Choosing descending as no effect.
It worked the day before yesterday.
Didn't work in 3.3.7something.
Now on 3.4. The same problem.

The sorting only changes within the group. So in fact the groups are not sorted descending.

What is the order of the grouping then?
If grouping is really set to 'Year yyyy', it would be very strange if MusicBee decides to order the groups on something else?

The group is Year. But i cannot sort the group by year descending. Only the covers in the group are sorted. The groups are always sorted ascending. This was not the case a while ago. And i don't remember making any changes. I always have the most recent on top, but now they are at the bottom.

Its possible the behavior was changed to fix another bug for year handling. If you define a custom sort using Year (yyyy) rather than using the inbuilt year sort, then it should work.
However this should address the issue:
