Where did my custom tags go?

I haven't poked around the preferences for a while now, but when I went in to "define new tags" settings, all my custom tags were gone - the virtual tags are still there.
Did something change in one of the recent updates to delete them? I'm pretty sure I haven't done anything to delete them.
I do have another portable install on another laptop, is there a way to get them across from there (settings file?)

Nothing has changed in the way MusicBee handles custom tags. So whatever happened, the cause for your issue lies outside MusicBee.

Custom tags are stored in: AppData > CustomTagConfig.xml
I'm not sure if it is a good idea to copy/share that file between different MusicBee installs, but you could experiment with it. (at your own risk obviously)

Not sure when or why, but that file was nonexistant on my install - technology has really been fighting me this year for some reason

MB on my other laptop is pretty much a clone so copying the file back wasn't an issue. Everything is back the way its supposed to be.
