This is what it looks like currently when I'm not using the theater mode.

I especially like the main panel.
What sorting/grouping did you use? I must be missing something as I tried various combinations and can't get what you're showing.
Thanks.

Thanks. I must be having a brain freeze as I can't get it. Are you using a sub-grouping to get the Artists broken out like your screenshot? Mine are one continuous row after row after row. With all artists mixed together. Or I get a sub-heading of the alphabet.

No sub-grouping. What I did is edit my music files under grouping with the artist name. Hope this helps, I made this particular layout a while ago so I can't explain it better, sorry.

What I'm not getting is the break at each artist. Nor can I get the artist's name as a 'heading' for each grouping.

But you get a grouping?
But if you set the grouping definition to Artist, it displays something else then Artist?
Either my braincells are hurting right now.

Oh yes! I definitely get a grouping., The first group is "0-9", followed by "A" then "B". I don't think I need to tell you the rest. And all the artists whose name begins the the letter in the group are there. But it's not splitting up into individual artist's groups as in the screenshot.

Actually I'm using Album Artist, but the same thing happens with Artist. It's displaying the Artist, but it's not grouping -by- artist.

Braincell #2 came up with a possible answer:
And the winner is hiccup's second, and possibly his last, remaining brain cell. Long may it live.

Thanks for that. I completely overlooked it. Obviously.
