I am probably missing something obvious.  But is there a way to open the CD/DVD drawer to put a disk in it?

    No, not from within MB.
      Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
      Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

      If you're ambitious you could grab nircmd.exe (https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html) and in MusicBee's Prefs/Tools add an entry like "OpenCDROM" pointed at nircmd.exe with the parameter entry "cdrom open" (no quotes);  then make a button for it on the MusicBee toolbar and you're done.  Likewise for "close."
