My MusicBee layout is as follows: https://i.imgur.com/WB9i94d.jpg

In the Main panel the albums are sorted: by Year / Album
Also, for the bottom part of the Column Browser I have a virtual tag ('Virtual2' ) to sort albums by:  ( year ) album  .
And, I have set in: Preferences | Library | 'monitored folders' group ---> "continuously monitor".

The issue is that if I rightclick an album and modify its "Year" tag value,
then the albums in the main panel are not automatically re-sorted based on the new value
nor when I click elsewhere and then on the band name, or even if I press F5 "Scan folders for new files"
(the bottom part of the column browser is updated ok though).
The only way for the albums to get the new sorting is to close and re-open MusicBee.

Here is a video capture to see what I mean:
(I modify the "Year" tag value of the 3rd album from 2010 to 1990 in order to become 1st )

Thank you

Using latest MB 3.4.7688 on win10.

How about adding a setting to optionally force re-sort the main panel when editing tags?
It wouldn't bother me at all, the tracks to be displayed erratically for a few moments, if it was to avoid having to restart MusicBee itself every time.
It would be great to have such a setting.
