Hi

How to I filter my library by file type (FLAC) and Genre.

My music is saved in several file types.
My library is organized into 6 Genres.

I created a FLAC filter - it works perfectly.

File->Library->Manage Filters

Filter Name: Whatever You Want
Click [...] to the right of the field in filter rules
Match...All...of the following rules
Line 1: Kind...is...FLAC Audio File
Line 2: Genre...is any of...(Select Appropriate Genres)

Then filter your library by this filter.

In addition to what frankz says, there are a lot of ways of categorizing and navigating your library. Some of them are shown here: https://musicbee.fandom.com/wiki/Library_Navigation_Elements

Hi
Thank you for your help.
I followed the above steps as described - the filter DID NOT work as I had hoped.

It seems that when I added Line 2 it acted as an OR statement - not an AND statement.
Meaning that all FLAC files are selected.

Am I doing something wrong?

Many Thanks

Yes, you need to set Match...All...of the following rules as I indicated the first time.
