Audio drops out for a few seconds during playback of some tracks - very random. Audio picks up further into track and continues normally.

Is that a question or just an observation?
If it is a question, it will be difficult for anyone to answer because you are not providing any details on your setup/hardware/plugins/settings.

Thanks for the reply. It's a question.

I am using my itunes library on an older HP G71computer running Windows 10 that is dedicated to my music collection. I have been using MB since early September and this is the only issue being experienced.

The only change made to standard MB settings was to increase the buffering which  did not solve the problem.

What version of MB are you using? (Help > About)
How was MB installed? (Installer, Portable, Store)
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Are only certain file types so affected, or is it a mix of types?  Can you upload one of the files where this always happens?
