Hi,

Is there one, or can I set one up somehow?
I use two libraries in MB, one for popular music and one for classical and would like a hotkey to make switching between the two easier.

Or, maybe, the best option is to have two different (portable) Musicbees, one for popular and one for classical?

Thanks

There isn't one, nor can the end-user create one.

Have you looked into filters? Create a filter for all your classical music and another for the rest. No need for two libraries and no need for two installations. https://musicbee.fandom.com/wiki/Filters
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Yes, that's what I do. One filter Genre contains Classical, one filter Genre does not contain Classical and pinned tabs for each filter. Works beautifully.

That's what I have decided on a while back, and I have never regretted it.

But you'll probably only find benefits in that if you have a large classical collection, and if you like to have differentiating layouts, custom- and virtual tags, and/or skins between your classical and your non-classical library.
