How to change sequence of songs in playlists?

Assume I have created a playlist and drag multiple *.mp3 song files from Windows Explorer onto this playlist.

Now I want to change the order of the songs.

My guess was to mark a song line in the playlist and drag and drop it to the desired position.

But this doesn't work.

How else can I move/drag a song e.g 3 positions up in the playlist?

You have to make sure the playlist is sorted in "manual order" or "natural order". Then you can drag & drop
