Auto-Playlist with Auto DJ or not

I have been using Musicbee some years now, but I can't figure out how to randomize my playlist. Shuffle is just playing the same songs over and over again. So should I keep the auto-playlist with Auto DJ, Shuffle, off or something else? My auto-playlist settings are like this:

Last played
Is not in the last 5 days

Limited to 2000 items
Selected by random

Shuffle (I also tried do not shuffle)
Select by track

Auto-refresh

Is auto dj what you're using now? Your playlist sounds like it should be keeping things fresh, but combining it with auto dj would help.

Yeah, I use auto-dj, but it still plays the same songs, could it be that auto dj just don't work with auto-playlist?

I use auto-dj with an auto playlist and it has always worked as expected. However, you could try setting your "not in the last..." rule directly as a filter for auto-dj and just use your music library as the source.
