I've noticed (in the recent versions of MusicBee I think),
that after I do a search,
if I doubleclick an album to start playing a matched album, and then immediately press the "forward" mouse sidebutton once/twice to skip track(s),
the search results are cleared, and the main panel focus changes either to the last selected track, or to the top of the album list with no album selected.
STR
- while playing a track or not, do a search for an album title or track title
- from the matched albums in the main panel, doubleclick one to start playing
- immediately click the "forward" sidebutton once (or twice) to skip track(s)
- notice that:
- the search results in main panel are cleared, and
- the main panel focus changes either to the last selected track, or to the top of the album list having no album selected.
-
note: the issue occurs very frequently but not consistently. Here is a video capture to see what I mean:
Video_2020-09-16_214330.wmv (0.9 MB)
(in the video:
- there's no selected album in any panel, and the "Born of a Broken Man "track is already playing,
- I do a search for "rage aga",
- doublelick the first of the matched albums to start playback, and
- press the "forward" mouse sidebutton once
I believe this issue is a bug.
In any case, I'd like to ask please (maybe as an option) to always keep focus in the current album in the main panel, when starting playback of a search matched album and immediately skip track(s).
(if it's related, I have enabled the setting: Now Playing|"Highlight playing track in the main panel").Thank you
