How do tabs work?

How do I get a tab for Artists?
Every time I create a tab, it simply creates a (full) library tab.

Same for other tabs, is there a way to get tabs for "now playing", "Albums", etc?
I can't find any way to chose what tabs I can use.

New Tab
Click Music in the left panel to access your music library
Up at the top-left of the main panel, click the drop-down menu and select Artists view.
