...rather than having to embed multiple images one-by-one. Would save a lot of time :)

If you're talking about adding the same image to a number of tracks within an album, you can already do that by selecting the album (or the tracks) and paste the artwork.

If you're talking about adding different to different albums (or tracks) how would that work? How would the artwork know which album to be added to?

Perhaps explain in more detail how your scenario and how you envision it working.

Let's say you have front cover, back cover, media label and a 2 booklet images for a particular album... you want to add all of these to all the files from an album, yes you can bulk-select the tracks, but as far as I'm aware, you have to drag-and-drop the images one-by-one once you have the artwork tab open.

You can still paste for the entire album, but yes, you would have to repeat it for the cover, the booklet, etc. So if you have the cover, the back cover, and one booklet page, you would have to do it three times for each album. Either pasting or dragging.
