All digital spdif toslink optical

Hey lads.
I just made the move to all digital out.

So, AE5 optical out to digital amplifier. I find that the sound quality on music bee has dropped a lot from my analogue out days. But Windows grove music has really taken off and the sound is way ahead of what it was.

I take it asio does not work when on toslink.

Erm? any comments will be helpful.

ASIO works over all common protocols including SPDIF.
However, to get it to work both the source (MusicBee in this case) and the receiver (your DAC) should support ASIO.
If the DAC doesn't, try WASAPI in exclusive mode.
