Naming Convention For Various Artists Albums

Wondering what naming conventions are generally being used for various artist compilation albums?

Album Artist="Various Artist"
Artist= name of the artist

I'm the same as Vincent as I don't get understand it could be any different.

Album artist I generally either default to whoever contributed the most to the album, the official credited album artist, or various artists if it's a mix and match of a ton of artists.

I use [compilation] so that it doesn't sort in the Vs, personally

[The Incredible Boom Boom]

I use the name of the publisher that put the compilation out.
