This probably needs some scripting, if it's even possible at all.

I would like to have a playlist of say 50 albums that I have added in the last 12 months.
Then these albums should be sorted by the average play count of the tracks.

Is this possible within musicbee?

I mean, filtering my albums added in the last 12 months is easy enough.
But then, how do I grab the 50 albums with the highest average play count and order them accordingly?

The virtual tag function $Count sounds like it can do it (get the total play count of an album), but I'm not sure how.
Favourite tune at the moment:   Dearly Beloved by Yoko Shimomura from the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack

no, AT&RT plugin is required, because there is no native mb function $Average() to calculate average album play count. forum search can find the discussion (i vaguely recall that it was on "tips & tricks" board) on how to calculate average album play count by plugin.
