I am trying to analyze the volume for my library (4022 tracks), but MusicBee keeps crashing and Windows gives me this error.
I have the latest version of MusicBee (3.3.7367) running on Windows 7.
Analyse Volume options checked: on album basis, alert when the replaygain adjustment would cause clipping

Is there anything around the time of the crash in MB's error log? Help > Support > view error log
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

The process may be hitting one or more corrupted files in the 4022.  You could scan the whole batch with MP3val (only mp3) and AudioTester (mp3-flac-ogg) to rule that out, a Forum search should turn up links/more info on those.

Thanks, sveakul. That seemed to be the problem.
Scanned and fixed my mp3 files with mp3val and the MusicBee made it through all my songs with no issues.

Cool, that's a heckuva nice app to have around.

Cool, that's a heckuva nice app to have around.

Since corrupted mp3's remain to be some issue with MusicBee once in a while, it would be nice if one day MB could have some functionality to check and correct a few of the most frequent occurring issues and corruptions.

Surely mp3val can fix some issues, mp3diags is even more powerful and configurable, and even foobar2000 comes with integrated functionality to fix some mp3 issues.

It could be interesting to have some error checking and fixing feature built into MusicBee some day.
It seems mp3 and some of it's inherent problems are not going anywhere any time soon...
