Hi I have a lot of guitar backing tracks in my library which I don't want to be mixed up with my standard song tracks.
It would be great if I could put them in an own category (like it is possible with "Audiobooks") so that they don't mix with the normal song tracks accidentally (e.g in auto playlists etc.).

Is it possible to create a new (sub)category which does not interfere with my standard song tracks without creating a second library?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can do this with filters and/or using tick marks. For instance, I have a filter for Christmas music, which I don't want to hear year round.

I use the filter to untick all Christmas music. Then I exclude unticked tracks during playback (I use unticking instead of excluding the filter directly because there are other things I untick, too).
