WASAPI playing only in exclusive mode

I'm having a problem with bee. It only plays when I select WASAPI exclusive output. DirectSound and WASAPI shared doesn't work. Anyone has/had same problem?

I have the same problem.
Directsound worked until I had to use my USB headset while MB was playing. Since then, I cannot get DirectSound to work.  Complete uninstall/reinstall did not help.
Updating the to the latest 3/2020 drivers for Realtek High Definition Audio did not help either.

This looks like a problem with realtek drivers. When I connect my Sennheiser bluetooth headset it is working OK.

Latest version doesn't work anywhere except exclusive mode! Any advice appreciated. I completely removed musicbee and reinstalled all the drivers still no luck! I'm now switching to AIMP until this is solved.

No changes were made for WASAPI handling in the latest release compared to the prior official release.
I dont plan to spend any time investigating this issue
