I need some help to setup my basic layout with my favorite sub panels.
I feel that it works somehow.
It should be easy and consist only of three panels:

1. In "left main panel" only all/previously used playlists should be listed
2, In "main panel" all songs from the marked, currently active playlist should be listed: Ungrouped, no picture, no album column, only lines with columns artist, title, duration
3. "Bottom" panel: Default is acceptable and should not be changed.

So when I open now "MusicBee Panels configuration" how do I assign the mentioned content to panels 2. and 3.?

Thank you
Peter

It sounds like you should put the Playlist Directory in the left main panel and hide the other side panels (probably wise to leave the left panl on auto-hide so you can get to it as needed)

Ok, thank you.

I setup "Playlist directory" to the left main panel.
It contains currently two entries:

- "Recently added"
- "Top 25 Most played"

Now I dragged an existing *.m3u playlist file from Windows Explorer onto this "Playlist directory" panel and expect that
it appears below the mentioned two entries above.

But nothing happened.

Whats wrong?

How can I otherwise add an existing *.m3u playlist from Windows Explorer by dragging to the listed, available Playlists?

I'm not aware of the ability to add playlists by drag and drop. That might be a wishlist request.

You can add playlists by ticking the "include playlists" box in the Scan Folder for New Files window.
