Hey,

I did some changes to my music file tags with mp3tagger and MusicBrainz Picard.
Unfortunately musicbee does not accept these changes.
Also tag-synchronising afterwards does not work.

I made a short clip showing my action.
You can see there is the composer/writer tagged in MusicBrainz.
But later it is not shown in MusicBee.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, I mean >> Tools -> Advanced -> Synchronise tags << does not work.
My english is bad. I blame the teachers. :D

Thanks but it does not work.
I can edit the tags in musicbee but not with other software...

Yeah, that's exactly what you don't want to do.  The Wiki is an amazing thing.

Synchronise Tags...
Forces data stored in MusicBee's cache to be written to the ID3 tags of the files themselves (normally this happens automatically, this is just a backup).

Thanks but (Select files->Right Click->Send To->Files Rescan) does not work.
Try it without forcing MB to write its (blank) cache data for those tags to the files themselves first.   :D

Are these files in your MB library?

I did so.
Unfortunately it does not help.

I found this guy who has had the same problem.
Maybe he could sum up my problem better...

I'm sorry, but I guess I dont get this correctly...

Which files are in my MB library?

In the MBlib is MusicBeeLibrary.lyrics, MusicBeeLibrary.mbl, MusicBeeLibrary.ini, and MusicBeeLibrarySettings.ini
My Music is stored in another folder.
But I did: >>File -> Add Files to library<< and that was succesful.
I hope that answers your question.

I mean if you go to Music and look at the files there rather than dragging and dropping from windows explorer. Once your files are in MusicBee you don't need to drag and drop them from Windows Explorer any more, you can just navigate to them in MB.

Also, if you select one of the file and press Shift+Enter and then look at Tag Inspector at the top are the new tags shown there?

I am sorry for wasting your time.

Somehow it does work now.

Reinstalled musicbee and restarted the computer.
Now it works.
I really don't know whats different now...

But thank you very much :)
