Is there a way to send the duplicates to a playlist or something?  I really like the new duplicate manager, but i have found that sometimes my songs aren't really duplicates i just have them labeled wrong.  If i could output the duplicates to a list, so i can edit them or to listen to them and make sure they really are the same song, it would be super helpful.

Sending duplicates to the playlist to check and remove them from there would be more convenient than the current solution, which doesn't allow to compare allegedly duplicated tracks.

Excellent suggestion Aaron_b.  Thanks.

Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

+1 I just went through 20 - 30 duplicates and it was a challenge. It would have been much easier as you have suggested. I think the ability to easily listen to the duplicate tracks would have helped.

Duplicate Manager could be opened in a New Tab too. It would be great if it grouped allegedly duplicated tracks in a way similar to presented in below screenshot:

NOTE, that I haven't used the application and that's why I can't recommend it, but I like the groups are marked with different colours and I'd like to see similar feature in MB.

so i checked out the new update and it only sends the duplicate files, i feel like it would be better to send both the original and the duplicates to the playlist, so you can compare them both head to head...

Hmmm I am a bit of a Dead Head so I have like 40 different version of Playin in the Band 39 version of Samson and Deliela...And they are all different...Maybe Someone can think of another way to use the Duplicate finder....I was Shocked at how fast it did its job but...Well as you can imagine I don't want to delete anything...Any Ideas would be helpful

if they are on different albums or have different track numbers you can omit them from the duplicates list by changing values from the drop down list... the duplicate manager is pretty sweet that way

I think the playlist created with Duplicate Manager should have a more specific name. I have many "Playlists" and it's hard to find the one created with DM. What about Duplicate list ???

BTW, In case someone needed a more general duplicate file finder I can recommend a freeware tool called Duplicate Cleaner.
If you should be interested, have a look at the comprehensive manual on the program homepage:
