Greetings, When exporting a playlist to my windows folder, I get two files per playlist a .mbp file and a .m3u file. Do I need both files? I'm importing the playlists to my Garmin Vivoactive 4 watch? Thanks, Lou

The MBP file can only be read by MB, so the file you should be using is the M3U.

Exporting a playlist should not be producing two files per playlist. Which begs the question, how exactly are you doing the export?
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Thanks phred. I see the error in my ways, I was using the same folder for playlists as well as for exported playlists. Now I use two folders "playlists for .mbp" and "exported for .m3u" and then select files from exported playlists for the watch. Thanks again.
