Steven...

I just installed 3.4.7398 P and it's attempting outbound connections to GitHub. Previous versions of 3.4 didn't do this. Can you please explain why you're calling GitHub?

When I manually enter the IP address being contacted I get a 404 "There isn't a GitHub Pages site here"

Thanks.

No idea phred. Trying now its not doing it and there is no code to do that. Maybe you have a podcast subscription or radio link thats incorrectly done, or perhaps one of the plugins

Thanks Steven. I have no podcasts loaded yet in 3.4 so I disabled the five plugins I use, restarted MB, and added them back in one by one. Seems it's caused by Lyrics Reloaded so I'll post my question in that thread. It also happens on the previous 3.4 that I had. What is odd is that it does -not- happen in 3.3.
