Will importing songs from Itunes ruin your itunes library?

I want to still listen to my songs in itunes b/c I'm not 100% sure I will switch to musicbee.  Will the "import songs from Itunes" button ruin my Itunes library?

Just don't do anything in MusicBee that will cause it to move / organize your music files away from where iToon thinks they are and you'll be fine.
