Surface Pro 3
8 gig RAM
Windows 10
MB v3.3.7310
*
Sound Device: NAD Wireless DAC2 using native Windows drivers
Windows Sound: Enhancements Disabled, 24-96k Format, Both Exclusive Modes Checked
MB-WASAPI Exclusive
Buffer size- 5.1 seconds
----------------------------

This odd behavior just started recently...after at least 1/3 of the way through a track, a song will suddenly stop playing. However, the player buttons don't reflect this, they show the pause button as if MB is mid-song. If I then hit stop/play, it resumes normally.

The music file is pulled over my LAN from a mapped external drive. When this occurs, I am able to access the file via Windows Explorer so the source does not appear to be disconnected.

There are no entries in the MB error log and no events in the Windows System or Application logs.

Any help much appreciated!

I have no DSP plugins enabled.

It just happened again tonight, in the middle of the 4th song that I played.
Again, nothing in the MB or any of the Windows Event Logs

Here is a screen shot of the UI, I did not change anything; notice the sound bars on the right are frozen.
Note- while the volume is maxed, the Pre-amp volume is rolled off
