Is there anyway to setup musicbee so it moves the featuring artist to the title automatically? I have alot of songs and don't like them split up that much. Prefer to have some way that it knows to remove featuring \ feat. \ ft. then move the artist to title.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

You could technically do this with the Additional Tagging and Reporting tools plugin. If your albums or artists are getting split up due to featured artists, though, you should probably look at what you're doing with album artist. The whole point of album artist is to have a consistent artist for an album so that you can put individual track artists in artist and not have this problem.

Another option to keep your feat artists as artists is to use MusicBee's custom sorting feature. It will allow you to tell MusicBee to sort a feat b, a feat c, a feat d all under a, ignoring the rest of the tag.

I just checked Additional Tagging Tools and while there are two presets for featured artists, they both -remove- the featured artist from title track tag and add them to a different tag.

You might be able to create your own. Or if you very nicely ask the developer, he might be able to create a preset for what you want. Take a at the Additional Tagging Tools plugin in the Add-ons section. This plugin is by far the most downloaded and used of all MB's plugins and the developer is accommodating when he has the time.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
