Join multiple values tag with a custom separator in Track properties panel

When a tag has multiple values, it displays the semicolon character by default. Common examples are Artist and Genres tags :



However it would be nice, in the editing panel, to have either a function or an option to choose a custom separator for each multivalued tag.
A join function should do great : $Join(<tag>, separator)

If I do:
$Join(<Artist>, " & ")
$Join(<Genres>, ", ")

The result should look like this :
