I'd like to have the ability to expand/collapse playlist folder recursively via a modifier key + click (e.g. Alt-Click).

Thank you for this great music player.

Kinda related, I'd just like to see the arrow keys in all the tree node views in MusicBee work the same way as Windows Explorer and most other programs.
They're mostly okay, but Left arrow should collapse the current node if it is expanded, or take you to the parent node if it is not. Currently it just moves up the list, which can be time consuming if you're at the bottom of a long list of folders.

Could also duplicate OP's request with a modifier key.
e.g.
Ctrl+Right Arrow could expand all child nodes.
Bee excellent to each other...

Yep. Tested on 3.3.7165 P

If have these playlist folders and select folder 3.4.1, pressing the Left arrow key:

Selects folder 3.4
Collapses folder 3.4
Selects folder 3.3
Selects folder 3.2.2
Selects folder 3.2.1
Collapses folder 3.2.1
Selects folder 3.2
Collapses folder 3.2
Selects folder 3.1
Selects folder 3
Collapses folder 3

Compared to Windows Explorer:

Selects folder 3.4
Collapses folder 3.4
Selects folder 3
Collapses folder 3

Many more steps required to get back to a parent node.

I guess some people will have lots of playlists, but more noticeable to me selecting folders in the left panel Computer browser.
Bee excellent to each other...
