When I attempt wifi sync to my Android device, I get the following error --- java.io.invalidobjectexception: Invalid filename --- I get this error for every one of my playlists, so none of them get copied. I've tried changing the playlist file type but it makes no difference. Any ideas?

Have you done a wired sync first? Steven has stated that before a wifi sync can be done, a wired sync (or preview) should be performed.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Yes, I had to do a wired sync because it's the only thing I can get to work. I'm still getting the same error on wifi.

This may not apply, but I had the same error when one of my songs contained an emoji in its file name.
