clear playlist button on miniplayer or popout playlist

It is quite annoying having to maximize the program if I want to clear the playlist. Any chance of having a clear button added to miniplayer somewhere, or even added to the popout playlist window?

you could assign a hotkey or alternatively open the now playing list from the mini-player then right click/List/Clear List
