[Layout] Ability to show Artist column from top to bottom of the window

Like is it possible in Itunes :p
With a pretty big library, I find the possibility of having a huge artist colum so much comfortable

have you considered using the library explorer in the left panel? it can be configured to only show artist

Damn, I was sure that i'd looked everywhere 

This is almost perfect, but it is a bit weird to have the infos there, then again in the track browser..

I think that adding the posibility to show such a layout wouldn't be so complicated, is it ?

yes i am planning to add this configuration to the "quick layout" choices.
Also, you can hide the track browser if you want or choose something other than artist in the browser column
