Drag from desktop to Now Playing?

Silly question, but I can't find the answer.

In Win7 I used to be able to drag music files from Explorer/desktop to the Now Playing panel.

Now I've installed Win10 and reinstalled Musicbee, and I can't drag stuff into the NPL.

Is it Win10? A change in a newer version of MB? Is it in a Musicbee setting now (I can't see it)?

By the the way, when I installed Win10 and knew I was going to do a fresh install of Musicbee, I took the opportunity to research other players to see if anything had changed in the music player landscape in the last few years. That lasted all of 15 minutes, because it was clear that Musicbee had not been eclipsed in any way by any other software. Time for another donation, I think!

A few days ago I ran MB as admin so I could amend the file associations within the settings page, and hadn't restarted it since.

In Win7 I had all that UAC stuff disabled, and haven't got around to doing anything about it in Win10 yet.
