Missing songs from Playlist

I am having problems with missing songs on the playlist. Doesn't matter what device i put it on. The song itself is transfered but the when reading the .m3u its missing some song. I have tracked it down to songs that either have a different language/symbols. Anyone has a solution for this.

All my Dap and phone are android based.

it might be the player itself treating m3u playlists as ascii text
you could try using m3u8 format when synching

tried both m3u and m3u8 still have the same problem.

nevermind. I found the problem was with the HiBy Music App that can't read them. Yet Jetaudio+ has no problem.
