Hi, I recently joined the forum but I've been using MB for about a year.

It has been a great experience so thank you.

Organizing a library and filling in the info are great hobbies of mine.

However I recently found an album which is not able to be downloaded from any music service.

And then I wondered, would it be possible to just create empty tracks without actual mp3 files, so that I can copy and paste the tags if I obtain the actual file?

Maybe I could just create very short mp3 files with no sound in it, but I just wondered if MB already has that kinda feature.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

As a matter of fact, you can do this. See Bee-liever's explanation of ASX files, here: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=24465

You'll have to create your from scratch, or maybe you can copy a file to use as a template and let the duplicate manager do it for you. Obviously it won't point to a real file, but it should still show up in your library.
