could you both use this version which will log the panel width in the error log and when it happens send me the log info

does this issue still happen?
on thing i am aware of is skins can specify different types of borders for the main application window and when switching skins that use different border types that causes small resizing of the window

Sorry it's taken me months to respond to this. I finally did a quick test just now and everything looked good. I moved a window around between screens and resized it and the sidebars stayed put, only the middle changed, which is what I would hope for. I'll let you know if I notice any more issues like the resizing during regular use.
