Hello. new user to MusicBee. Excited to get my 22000 song library organized, finally.

Using Advanced Tagging Tools, I exported my library to txt file, then to excel to make bulk edits, keeping file names and folder names the same.

Have added new Custom columns as well, and saved it back into a Txt file.

Would now like to re-import the edited library back into MuiscBee

Would using Advanced Tagging Tools -> Paste Tags from Clipboard be the best solution?

How does MusicBee recognize the tag columns headers?

Does MusicBee read the first row in my txt file as the Tag Column Header Names?

Any advice offered to successfully complete this, I would be most grateful.

Thank you,

Ryan

It's probably too late now, but I think you should've done your bulk editing through MB's Tag Editor. In the past I have bulk edited thousands of tracks via the Tag Editor.

I don't think you can paste the tags from the clipboard because I don't see how you can get all the tags into the clipboard. And as you said, how would MB know which tag belongs to which track?
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.

If there's a way to do it with the plug-in, boroda would be the best one to give advice. Try asking on the plugin thread.
