Hello,

Curious if there is purpose for the "#" tag?

It is also available in Preferences-> Tags2-> Configure Fields -> Fields Layout Editor, however I do not see it as an option in Define Custom Sorting.

Asking this as I have exported my MB library to excel, made edits, and looking for solution to re-import all the changes that were made back into the MB library.

As excel and MB sort differently (MB sorts 001, then 01, whereas Excel sorts 001, then 002), seeking a common denominator to link the changes I made in excel back into MB.

Thank you in advance for any help that can be offered.

Ryan

The # field is only meaningful in static playlists, where it describes the sort order for that playlist only. It doesn't have any permanent value or meaning.
