How do you / is there a way to lock the column widths & fields?

Is it possible to set the displayed fields and column widths in the main view and then make those settings persist when you navigate to a playlist?

Not 100%, but you can save a view from the menu at the top left of the main panel. Then you can apply that view to a playlist

The best I've done is eyeball it. At least it remembers them so you don't have to change it every time. It's also useful to have some tabs laid out a bit differently for music cleanup n such
