Auto-playlist with tracks that have no lyrics?

Hello,

I tried to make an auto-playlist with all tracks that have no lyrics, yet it shows ALL tracks.
(rule:  'lyrics' 'has no value')
Am I overlooking something?

Lyrics has no value works for me. But another thing you can try is "Lyrics? has no value".

Can you give a screenshot of one of the playlist with the Lyrics? field in the main panel?

This is the playlist 'No lyrics' (with Lyrics? has no value).
When I scroll through the songs, it definitely has songs with lyrics...

Broadly speaking:
- Playlist with 'Lyrics? has no value' and 'Show files without lyrics' have the same result
- Playlist with 'Lyrics has no value' has some 30 more results...
All three have lots of songs with lyrics.

Thanks. That's close, but I meant show "Lyrics?" as a column in the main panel so we can see what it's telling you.

Also, how are your lyrics stored? If they are in external files, that might be causing the confusion.

Yeah, that's the idea. Huh, there's definitely something not right there. Usually if there is no value in "Lyrics?" it means that there are no lyrics in the file but it is also not marked as having no lyrics.

The next thing I can think of is maybe it's related to file type. Are these MP3? FLAC? Something else?

Can it have to do with lyrics embedded in older versions of Musicbee?

(I don't know, it's as with the code I use now ($If(<Lyrics?>="",,"(Lyrics)") ) in Track Information:  sometimes it doesn't show that there are lyrics while there are... might be related...)

I doubt older versions would matter. Can you share one of the files that has this issue so I can see if it does the same for me?
