Docking miniplayer to the taskbar

I have the miniplayer in the lower right corner of my screen. Unfortunately, this sometimes covers things up.

It'd be nice if there was an option to dock it onto the Windows taskbar itself, to the left of the system tray-notification area.

I have been searching for this for a while now. I have tried rainmeter and other stuff but It'd be best if this was officially supported in the miniplayer itself.
Would really love to see this implemented.

Have you tried right-clicking the mini-player and selecting "Windows Options" and then choose dock at the bottom?  They're other options in 'panel layout'.  Might be a good half-way house?
