can not add tracts to playlist

setting up Musicbee on new computer. old version on old computer i could drag and drop tracts from explorer into playlist but it wont work in this case? any suggestions? thank you...

Windows Store version? Or installer? Or portable?
If either of the first two, the issue may be related to the fact that the install is in a Windows protected directory. Or uninstall and reinstall the portable version in a directory that isn't protected by Windows - ideally on another partition.
If not the Windows Store version, try patching to 3.3. See my sig.

Also make sure your security software isn't blocking things. Especially Avast. Whitelisting the entire MB directory in your security software might help.

i uninstalled and reinstalled a few times.


when i try to drag the file into the new playlist a small circle appers with an x in it. i can drag files into wavepad.

fixed, i deleted Norton. thanks for the pointer

You don't need to uninstall your security software. Simply whitelist the entire MB folder in Norton.
