Is it intentional that <element id="PlaylistFolder"> is no longer loaded and displayed?
(I hope not)

thats right - it was removed quite some time ago along with the sub-folder icons no longer displayed in the computer node to make more space available for text and also a cleaner look i think.

To me it feels like breaking a common and widely understood ui standard where you can quickly distinguish folders from actions or files.
It's also visually inconstent with all other entries having an explanatory icon:

if the folder has no playlists in it then it is displaying like this (not intentional so i will look at doing something about it)
Add a playlist to the folder and you will see how it should look

Ah, yes. I understand the decision better now.
