Hello MB Pros,

I´m a filmcomposer and more often than not I had to supply the costumer with mood music in a certain style. Until now I went through my whole iTunes soundtrack lib from A to Z to find matching tracks/songs, which is very time consuming.

So I need a media player which allows multiple genre or attribute tagging like : Orchestral, Chamber, Action, Percussive, Avangarde, B Movie etc.

So when I´m looking for some music that has to be let s say: orchestral, spionage-like, 60s, comic, I type in these attrubutes and bamm, all are shown in the music explorer.

Is this possible and how do I set this up in musicbee?
I already did a lot of research on the web, but without success.

Thanks for help

Ritchie

Yes, MB can do what you're looking for. Artist, genre, composer, and (I think) mood tags can accept multiple tags using the semi-colon (;) as a separator.

Take a look at the Tagging section on the Wiki. Especially the section on Multiple Value Tags.
http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Tagging

Then take a look at Sorting & Grouping.

Finally come back with questions.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
