scanning new library for the first time

I have a large 138,500 files music library and switching from I tunes to Musicbee. Scanning music folder for the first time. Any suggestions to reduce the amount of time it takes to scan large library?

That's a great question, but I think it just takes as long as it takes. It would depend more on your system and storage capabilities than on anything in MusicBee. You could try importing in smaller batches, if you're concerned about things being locked up for a long time.
