MusicBee Remote not working with Pia VPN

I use PIA VPN on my Android phone.  When I disconnect the VPN, MBR connnects.  As soon as I turn the VPN back on, MBR switches to "authenicating" followed by "Offline."  Does MusicBee Remote work if you use a VPN on your phone.  I use my phone and pc for my business, so it's a basic security tool.  Thanks!

OK. It looks like I go to the MusicBee Remote thread (that has 37 pages and five hundred something replies), post to there, and then scroll through that thread later to see if anyone replied to my question? In other words, it looks like I would *not* go to the plugins forum and post a new topic. Do I have that right?  This is new to me, and I appreciate your help and patience.

Yes. The plugin creator probably gets notifications of new posts to that thread, so the fact it's long doesn't mean your question is lost. You can also sign up for notifications so you don't have to check the thread to see if there's been a reply.

There are a few possible explanations for this behaviour. It could be that your VPN is incompatible with MusicBee Remote, or the VPN is causing some interference. Another possibility is that your phone's connection is not stable when using the VPN. If you rely on a VPN for security, you may want to consider switching to a different provider. There are many reputable VPN providers out there, so you should be able to find one that works well with MusicBee Remote.
