"Lock layout" doesn't work, resets itself when window size changes

The 'lock layout' option under Layout (1) in Preferences should prevent resizing of the panels, however, when I resize Musicbee, the panels reset to their original size. This is especially annoying when accidentally resizing the window.

Is there another option I'm missing here? Or is this a bug?

I also have this problem and so far I haven't seen a fix for this when searching for this on the forum. Would really love it if someone could figure out a fix for this. Like op said its really annoying.
